current Message series
As we step into the New Year together, we’re turning our attention to the Gospel of Matthew—a deep dive into the person of Jesus. Matthew doesn’t just tell us what Jesus taught; he shows us what it looks like when God steps into real human life and begins to reshape everything from the inside out.
Across January and February, join us on Sundays at 9:00am and 10:45am as we’ll follow Jesus from His early days to His most defining moments, watching how people encountered Him—and how their lives changed because of it. Each week, we’ll see that his invitation, “Follow Me,” can begin to transform our lives and define our identities.
As we move Further in Faith our prayer is for 100% participation.
Let's invest in future generations! Let's reach people who don't really know who Jesus is! Let's use the new church 7 days a week to serve the community! Let's ask God to strengthen our own hearts and trust him to do immeasurably more than we can imagine through us and with us!

OUR PASTORS
With over 40 years of faithful service to the city of
Tampa, Revs. Fitz and Kathy Conner passionately lead First Pres Tampa. With
their roots in Young Life, their ministry focuses on real relationships and
real transformation with others through discipleship, biblical application, and
helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. Earning their degrees
together at Fuller Seminary, they continue to be lifelong learners of scripture
and avid apprentices of Jesus. In their free time Fitz and Kathy enjoy
golfing, walking their dog, Tally, and spending time with their family.
