In Matthew 25 Jesus said, “When I was hungry you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. When you do it to one of these brothers and sisters you are doing it to me!”
Our commitment to those who are unsheltered and hungry is unwavering! The Matthew 25 outreach team seeks to make the love of Jesus tangible with food, drink, clothing, blankets, back packs, medical care, social services, and more to some of God’s sons and daughters on the streets of our city.
Matthew 25 teams serves every Saturday mornings in two places:
- Ybor City in partnership with Tampa Hope
- Downtown Tampa under the Marion Street I-275 overpass. (Families with children welcome!)
Help is needed to bring food, serve and offer prayer to our guests. You can also donate a bike to be refurbished and given to those who need transportation to their job.
