First Pres Children's Ministry is committed to serving families with special needs children. Our I Am Able CREW on Sundays is dedicated to making sure ALL children know and grow in the love of Jesus!
We are excited to announce we will be partnering with Floortime Florida to host a Kids Connect Therapy Camp this summer!
WHAT: Floortime Florida Kids Connect Therapy Camp
WHO: Neurodivergent and disabled children ages 3-5yrs and 6-8yrs old
WHEN: Monday, June 29th - Friday, July 3rd
WHERE: First Pres Tampa, 3302 W. Horatio St.
TIME: Times TBD based on enrollment
At Kids Connect, our mission is to create a fun, welcoming summer camp where neurodivergent and disabled children can build meaningful connections, feel a true sense of belonging, and simply enjoy being kids. Our program is rooted in play, friendship, and shared experiences—focusing on relationships rather than rigid skill-building.
We prioritize small group sizes with a small adult-to-child ratio, allowing our caring play partners to recognize and support each child’s individual needs, communication styles, and sensory preferences. By honoring differences and meeting children where they are, Kids Connect offers a safe, supportive space in South Tampa where every child is valued, understood, and encouraged to connect.
