Co-labor with some Academy Prep students to repair fencing around their fruit and vegetable garden used for gardening enrichment program

Beth-el is focused on feeding the Mind, Spirit, and Body of the farm working community and our neighbors in need, through opportunities for hunger relief, education, healthcare, and spiritual growth. Volunteers will help Beth-el mission package food or any other resources needs for farmers in need.

The Children’s Dream Fund makes dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses living throughout West Central Florida. From puppies to playgrounds, special trips to meetings with celebrities, we help every child referred to us by area hospitals. Join us in a “Reverse Toy Drive” where we will be wrapping, decorating, and delivering gifts to these deserving children! We will meet on-site at First Pres and travel in small teams to deliver the gifts to the homes of selected children.

Children’s Home Network is dedicated to improving lives and changing life stories. We unlock the potential of at-risk children and families by providing compassionate and effective services that create opportunities for success. Join us in hosting a Craft Day for the children at CHN. Volunteers should arrive at 9:45 and the children will arrive at 10:30 for the activities. Afterwards, we will share lunch with them (provided by First Pres).

Choices mission is to glorify God and protect life by providing medical services and Christ centered support to anyone at risk for abortion. We would love for you to help us make gift bags to give to clients when they come for a pregnancy test. We include diapers, wipes, gender neutral newborn items. Or, we will create newborn gift bags. They have an Amazon Registry and will also accept any new baby items. We will assemble gift bags at our church and deliver together.

Have a passion for helping others in need? Are you handy with home projects or eager to learn how to tackle a home project? Help care for one of our older church members by helping with various projects in and around her home. Possible projects are gardening work, light painting and repairs inside and outside the home.

Created Tampa is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization committed to the restoration of vulnerable women involved in the sex industry to an understanding of their value, beauty, and destiny in Jesus Christ. We will be helping with cleaning up the yard at their St Pete Sanctuary House.

Crisis Center of Tampa Bay helps individually suffering with the devastating trauma of sexual assault or abuse, domestic violence, financial distress, substance abuse, and additional traumas. Service the Crisis Center by helping in their Zen Garden as well as general clean up, re-mulching, planting new plants, and painting rocks for hope and encouragement.

ON SATURDAY 2/1 - not Sunday 2/2 like the other projects. Transport collected food and items to End 68. Once there, volunteers will sort the items in the food pantry. *Must be vaccinated*

Serve the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, by delivering lunch to the deputies at the Falkenburg Detention Center. Pass out lunch, chat with the deputies and clean up.

Take part in caring for our new church home! We are continuing to get settled in and spruce it up to be even more welcoming for our members and guests. Activities may include yard work, painting a fence, organizing, etc. More details to come closer to ServeDay!

Volunteers will be helping kennel staff keep all of the animal areas running smoothly. Help may include walking or bathing dogs, taking puppies out to the play yards, cleaning cages and doing general cleaning, washing bowls, doing laundry, putting out water and food for the animals, making treats, or whatever else the staff needs help with that day. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and tennis shoes.

Volunteers will be helping with overall beautification and grounds cleanup to include raking bagging leaves, trash pick-up, planting and upkeep, bathroom interior painting and beautification, replacing rotted bleacher seat boards that have rotted away on tee-ball bleachers, installing posts for sun shades over bleachers on fields A and E.

The mission of Isaiah 117 House is threefold: reduce trauma for children awaiting placement, lighten the load for child welfare services, and ease the transition for foster families. Join us in making lemonade and setting up a lemonade stand so we can spread awareness about Isaiah 117’s mission and raise donations for this important cause!

Help "Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful" by picking up waste or debris at one of our Hillsborough County parks. Gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers, etc. will be provided. Great project for groups and all ages!

Volunteers will be helping to make the patients feel loved and cared for with music, patient visits, and flower arrangement decorating. Volunteers will also assist in administrative projects to help the LifePath staff.

Mary Lee’s House is a community collaboration committed to protecting, respecting, and healing the children of abuse and neglect who pass through their doors. Join us in making Calming Jars and Courage Tokens. These items are given to children who come to Mary Lee’s House as a tool to help cope and manage stressors related to the trauma they have faced. By taking the time to make these calming jars, you are helping another child feel a little safer and more comfortable. There is also an opportunity for child artists to create pictures of pinwheels and children that could be used on social media.

The mission of Matthew 25: Ministries is to fulfill Matthew 25:34-40 of the New Testament by providing nutritional food to the hungry, clean water to the thirsty, clothing to the naked, affordable shelter to the homeless, medical care to the ill, and humanitarian supplies to those in need.
Volunteers will be serving a sit-down hot lunch to men and women at our Tampa Hope site who have been homeless, and are working towards employment, education, and permanent housing. You will have the opportunity to engage in amazing conversations, give them backpacks and provide an opportunity to write notes/letters to family members and friends. This is a child-friendly project for children, ages 6 and older.

Metropolitan Ministries help homeless and at-risk children and families, no matter how serious their needs. The project will be decided the day of depending on the need. Volunteers will either help with serving a meal, a clothing drive, outdoor work, and cleaning the campus at Metropolitan Ministries.

Volunteers will be visiting approximately 15-20 senior members, or those ill at home, delivering plants, flowers, and/or goody bags of health treats.

Volunteers will be assisting in making enrichment items for all our pets, help to clean up some of our gardens, assist with washing dishes and laundry, and help prepare adoption bags.

Project volunteers will be:
- Water sealing and painting our new shade structure for the horses in one of the pastures
- De-weeding fence lines,r emoving debris from pastures (2a, 2b, 3), and cleaning water troughs for the horses
- Cleaning and sprucing up the small riding arena for participant sessions and night turn out for horses

Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay keeps families close to their children while they receive life-saving treatment in local area hospitals. Our goal is to not only house families, but to provide a home away from home with compassionate support and resources for families who are now in the best place they never wanted to be.
You can expect to provide some light household chores such as sweeping, dusting, and organizing. These may include yard beautification, making baked goods, or organizing meals on the go bags for our guests. We will also be helping them decorate for Valentine’s Day.

Sabal Palms believe healing is a journey, and their team is there to support their patient and their family when rehabilitative, restorative or ongoing care is needed. ServeDay volunteers will host a board game morning. Please bring your favorite board games to play with children and adults!

Greet and usher ServeDay volunteers as they enter the church to collect their t-shirts, have breakfast, and worship prior to volunteers ServeDay project.

Setup- Help set up our ServeDay breakfast for all of our volunteers! Breakfast will start at 8:30 so we need volunteers on-site at the church at 7. This could entail helping set up tables/chairs and distributing T-shirts. During breakfast, you will be responsible for greeting volunteers and directing them.
Breakdown- You will be responsible for breakdown at the church around 1- 2:00 PM after all projects are completed at the church. This includes any decorations, t-shirts, and overall clean up of the church.

Serve the local Tampa Firefighters in our own backyard by trimming, weeding, and planting flowers around Fire Station 14, 1325 S Church Ave. Tampa, FL 33629.

Serve TGH by visiting their NEW Tampa Well Community Garden and helping with various tasks around the garden, such as planting flowers and building a compost bin. We will also be helping in the Food Pantry with organizing the Food Pharmacy. Children 8+ welcome to participate in the project, younger children will be able to participate in a kid friendly activity.

Serve the Tampa Police Department by chatting with the officers and participating in a car wash. The Police Department will bring their patrol and personal cars to be washed during the event.

Serve the West Tampa Elementary by joining the school's Assistant Principal to paint pillars on the front of the school, decorate the school office for Valentine's Day, and replanting 3 flower beds.
