CREW is our ministry for elementary-aged kids.  

CREW Stands for Children Radically Experiencing Worship


WHAT WE DO

Every Sunday at 9:30 am, your children will worship as we

Sing, Dance, Pray, Give, Laugh, Play, Learn, Love, Encounter, Share, and Follow.

All in the name of Jesus!   There is not a SINGLE minute wasted in CREW Children's Ministry.   


But here’s what we really believe is important for you to know about CREW: when our kids show up on Sunday morning, we believe that the Bible should NEVER be boring, that worship can be really loud, and that the best leaders ALWAYS care. In other words, we want to make sure that our kids experience the acceptance and joy of knowing their Heavenly Father. That’s what CREW is all about!

We want our kids to know:

  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Everything that we teach flows from these Three Basic Truths.

The purpose of CREW is to connect our kindergarteners through 5th graders into a small group where they will begin to unpack what it means to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want our kids to see how God’s word applies to their lives and how his truth really tells them how to live. Every week we connect our kids to the same small group leaders, giving them another trusted relationship that will help connect them to a relationship with their Heavenly Father.

A Typical Sunday morning in CREW

Children Radically Experiencing Worship

PreK4 thru 5th

9:45am

  • Children will be dismissed from the sanctuary. Parents will need to come back to the Chapel area to sign-in your children. We will be using a simple sign-in/sign out system, along with filling out a basic name tag for the first few Sundays so teachers can get to know everyone.

9:50-10:15am

  • PIER 95 Large Group Worship; this will be a great time where we all share in singing, prayer, and a bible lesson! *Psalm 95 “O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.”

10:15-10:45am

  • Grade Level small groups; Teachers will escort the children to their classrooms to do an exciting activity/extension based on our large group lesson.   Parents may come to individual classrooms to pick up and then sign out their children.

2 & 3 yr old

9:15am

  • You may drop off your toddler at this time, or wait until the older ones are dismissed from the sanctuary.

9:30am-10:00am

  • Center play

10:00am-10:25am

  • Bible lessons, songs, activity


10:25-10:45am


  • Center play, teacher read aloud


Infants

9:15am

  • You may drop off your infant at this time, or wait until the older ones are dismissed from the sanctuary.

9:30am-10:45am

  • Through hands-on play, music, and social interaction, your baby will feel right at home with our nursery teachers!
