Head Pastor

Serving as our lead Pastor, Fitz daily lives out his calling to help people in our city experience the love and grace of Jesus. It is with this warmth and light-heartedness that he leads our church passionately. Fitz is known for his love of his 7 pound Shih Tzu, Florida State football, and the Greek language!

Associate Pastor

With boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm, our Associate Pastor, Kathy, loves and serves people for Jesus in our community and beyond. She loves to encourage others, is super excited about her new passion, golf, and surprising people with the love of Jesus. Her family means EVERTHING to her!

Student Ministry Director

As the Student Ministry Director, Emmy finds great joy in serving teenagers and watching them develop a relationship with Jesus. Emmy meets students where they are and can often be found cheering them on at their events. Emmy enjoys plotting shenanigans, befriending everyone she meets, and digging into God’s word.

Interium Worship Leader

Born and raised in Nashville, Matt has spent years leading worship and writing songs about life and faith. Alongside serving as the Technology Director at St. Mary's Day School, we are thrilled to have Matt as our Worship Director. Matt is passionate about helping others discover the joy in praising the Lord!

Production Director

Through growing up in the church, Riley developed a skill and passion for production. He's served in many positions around different Tampa Bay churches and ministries. Riley is a Tampa native and cares deeply for his city and community. He loves his hometown sports teams and see away games as the perfect opportunity to visit a new city!

Chief Financial Officer

Tony brings 40 years of servant leadership in the public and private sector to the administrative and financial business of First Pres. He serves as our CFO with passion and enthusiasm. Tony adores his family, spends every spare moment on the golf course, and enjoys watching football.

Events Cordinator

Angela grew up on a dairy farm in Texas. She since has spent the last 20 years traveling the world with her Marine Corps husband and two sons. She is happy to now call Tampa home where she can combine her experience in event planning and her love for the church here at First Pres Tampa!

Administrative Assistant

Katey serves First Pres as a ministry assistant. Being a Tampa native, Katey brings her love for Jesus and relational network into her role at the church with humility and enthusiasm. She has a servant's heart which is seen most naturally loving her husband, three kids, and crazy dog! She loves being active, beach days, and cheering on the Bucs!

Bookkeeper

Caren loves First Pres so much that she is putting her business experience to work as our bookkeeper.  Caren has the gift of recognizing a need and stepping up to lead and serve! She runs her own consulting business, volunteers in the fight against Human Trafficking, and trains to compete in triathlons.

Facility Manager

Tim brings years of experience and expertise into his role as Facilities Manager at First Pres. Tim has spent his career in machine design, construction, and home inspection. Tim is a family man having grown up in a family of five kids as well as raising two boys with his wife, Sally. Building lifelong friendships and following God is at the center of his life’s work.
