MEET OUR PASTORS
With over 40 years of faithful service to the city of Tampa, Revs. Fitz and Kathy Conner passionately lead First Pres Tampa. With their roots in Young Life, their ministry focuses on real relationships and real transformation with others through discipleship, biblical application, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Earning their degrees together at Fuller Seminary, they continue to be lifelong learners of scripture and avid apprentices of Jesus. In their free time Fitz and Kathy enjoy playing golf, walking their dog, Tally, and spending time with their family.

NEW MESSAGE SERIES BEGINS SUNDAY 09/13
What is God really like?
We may readily answer that God is loving, good, powerful, and holy. While completely true, Scripture gives us a much bigger and richer picture of who God is.
Join us over the next four weeks at 9:00am and 10:45am, when we’ll slow down and explore the attributes of God: the qualities and characteristics that reveal His nature and shape the way we understand Him. We’ll explore both what makes God uniquely God, such as His eternality, omniscience, and omnipresence as well as qualities God shares with us, like justice, mercy, and love.
This sermon series is an invitation to go deeper. The more we understand who God is, the more we begin to understand how we are invited to know Him, trust Him, and become more like Him.

REAL WOMEN'S EVENT
First Pres' Women's event, REAL will be held Thursday, October 1st at First Pres Tampa. Women of all ages will gather for an evening of real relationships, encouragement, authenticity and laughter!
Our speaker will be Elizabeth Pehrson! Elizabeth lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is a wife, mother, speaker, podcaster, and founder of The Exchange. The Exchange has grown into a platform where hundreds of women come to connect, grow and learn how to live a more intentional life in Jesus.
Invite a friend or a group of friends to join you for this inspiring night as we encourage women, foster authentic community with each other, and lean into the truth that REAL life comes from Jesus!

We need candy! The Candy Monster will be in the Lobby beginning Sunday, September 27th. Feed the monster your candy bag donations on Sundays or call 813-760-3105 to arrange drop off during the week.
